Who’s a Dirty Burg…? Dan is!

Yup, this hill sucked.

Not all WSI Cycling events take place on the bike. I’m pleased to report another decent trail running finish for the “Traveling Circus” this past weekend. The Dirty Burg included 100 feet of climbing per mile, with the finish being a run up to the top of the ski hill and straight back down again. Nothing like getting in some nice altitude for the day!

There was a great showing of fellow racers and I’m very happy with my 9th out of 29 overall result. Next stop is the Cereal City Triathlon relay with Holly. That should get me back on the bike for a bit!

Coast to Coast 210 Mile Ride

Race Testimonial: Daniel Wolin

The Seahorse Relay

Race Testimonial By: Dan Frayer

06/2019

Another multi sport podium for WSI Cycling.  No other relay teams showed up. Made of sugar I suppose.

A win is a win.

Coast to Coast 100 is next.

In the competitive sporting world, the term DNF is one you never want to see next to your name in the race results. While it’s very rare that I end on a podium when racing my bike, one of the things that I’m pretty proud of over my years of cycling is I rarely have ever had the “dreaded” DNF (Did Not Finish) next to my name. That changed in Ishpeming this past February.
